The Amoun Restaurant   It is not my intention to advertise or promote this particular establishment, even though I have eaten there and can recommend the cuisine. This restaurant is, however, of interest to readers as it played an important part in Ken's life in Luxor. You will find many references to 'The Amoun' in Ken's writing. It was his meeting place, watering hole and court. Being in the centre of town, it is an ideal place to sit and observe.
